Just a little detail...girls from RLD are not trafficking slaves...Not at all.. I understand and I agree the message of the clip, I'm against any kind of slavery form, but RLD is a legal business. I saw with my own eyes a girl who finished her shift, locked the door and went to take trikken to go home. She looked as any ordinary woman. They pay taxes, they have monthly medical exam and every single room in RLD have a panic button. Just try to hit a girl, in 2 minutes police is coming. The clip itself is promotional, no tourist is allowed to take photos in RLD.

Something I have been looking at is the general concept that religion exalts individualism. It seems to me that the religions with which I am familiar do exalt the individual. Promises are made such as "pie in the sky when we die." And yet no one promoting this theory of afterlife is reaching to "die for the pie." This is the greatest inconsistency of Western religion that I know.

When someone with an unworthy goal asks another to lay down their life whether through billion year commitments or even through loss of their personal life such as wars, etc., it seems that person must be convinced of a greater reward for doing so, such as the 72 Islamic virgins in heaven. (I never understood the appeal of that one).

In Scientology, we were promised to be gods at the end of the Bridge to Total Freedom. In this I see the superior individual being held out as the supreme accomplishment. Then like a Mormon, when we are worthy, we go off to be supreme commander of our own planet. It seems that Hubbard enjoyed that idea.

I am currently believing that the exaltation of the individual is not only divisive and a great source of strife among peoples but may be a spiritual dead end and a trap to beat all traps.
